Contents of I Love Colorado Baskets
All baskets are handmade with love and support several non-profit organizations. The exact contents are dependent on the size of the basket, the season and our sponsors.
The Hungry Bear – Food Lover Basket
- Udi's Granola (it is really the best - handcracked and delicious)
- Aspen Leaf Gourmet marinade in a 12oz bottle (Mojo Nuevo or Wine Jerk)
- Izze Soda (just a small can, but it is made from pure fruit juice and sparkling water – yummy) The company is in Boulder
- Mason Jar of Brownie Mix or “Chugwater Chili” (from The Second Wind Fund). These have the ingredients layered attractively.
- Salsa or Bean Soup Mix (again that is in colorful layers in a cellophane bag) assembled by the Women’s Bean Project
- Candy as available
Glenwood Springs - "Pamper Me" spa items
- Scented soap from Lily Gulch or Castle Rock (wonderful scents like “Rocky Mountain High”, Evergreen, Aspen Glow, Lemon, and lots of others)
- Lip Balm - scented balm fo the lips by Lily Gulch
- Bath Salts (a variety of packaging, made by Carson’s sister, Sally)
- A 3” diameter, 3” high candle, made especially for our Foundation by Green Fingers Foundation with Columbine and other Colorado flowers as decoration
- A Colorado 2008 “Peace of Mind” calendar
- A CD of Contemporary Piano Solos by Kevin Asbjornson (PianoOne)
- Scented Candles from Colorado Candle Company
Front Range - Family basket
- “C is for Centennial” A Colorado Alphabet book by Sleeping Bear Press
- The Mystery in the Rocky Mountains
- Various books by Claudia Mills
- Women’s History books by Vivian Sheldon Epstein (VSE publications)
- Leather Key Ring (with Colorado symbols etched into them)
- Plus a variety of items as in the Spa and the Food baskets
All Around Colorado – a bit of the best for everyone
The books, food items, spa items and other miscellaneous goods are tailored to the customer.
High end baskets include a lovely hand-blown glass Columbine (in an orchid box) from Art of Glass.
There are a few “Home of the Rockies” baseballs and other special items for those who request a special theme other than those provided.
